About Neil
Neil Martin is a professional drummer and educator who has been playing the drums for over 30 years.

Throughout his career Neil has toured and recorded with artists such as Del Shannon, Archie Bell and the Drells, Percy Sledge, The Chi-Lites, Peter Cox (Go West), Mark Shaw (Then Jericho) Steve Norman (Spandau Ballet) and has been a session musician on many television and radio broadcasts.

Neil was also a member of the world famous Jimmy Barnes Band and can be heard on the albums ‘Psyclone’ and ‘The Best of Jimmy Barnes’ and also on the single ‘Change Of Heart’. Whilst a member of the band Neil performed around the world to audiences of up to 110,000 people and supported bands including Bon Jovi and The Rolling Stones.

Neil’s students can be heard playing for successful pop and rock bands and also in west end shows and on television and radio jingles.

Neil has lectured and performed drum clinics and seminars around the U.K. and Australia is a faculty member of the Drum Institute and maintains a busy private teaching schedule.

Neil has also studied Neuro-Linguistic-Programming with the amazing Dr Richard Bandler, Paul McKenna and Michael Breen and is now a certified practitioner of NLP.

Throughout his career Neil has studied with such teachers as the great ‘Drumming Global Ambassador’ Dom Famularo, Ed Soph, Andy Leask, Bob Armstrong and Jim Chapin.

Neil is now regarded as one of the top drum teachers in the U.K. and teaches students of all levels at his studio just outside of London England.
